Impact of the Coronavirus |

It has become increasingly clear that the Coronavirus has started to make an impact on the housing market in California. In light of the shelter-in-place order being extended to May 3rd in California, we are seeing a dramatic inventory change of homes on the market. Over the last week, there has also been a decrease in homes being sold.
Potential buyers can’t leave their homes at the moment except for essential items which means no open house showings until we can gain control of the spread of COVID-19. The impact of this virus is changing the way we operate on a regular basis. Some good news is that as of April 1st, California’s fast and aggressive measures to decrease the spread of the virus by social distancing are Working!
According to an article written in Politico, it appears that our amazing efforts are starting to flatten the curve, thus decreasing the rate of the spread. Great job, Bay Area!
